My Story
From Jaipur to the global stage
I’m Ankit Dhir, Founder & CEO of HabileLabs, a technology company helping businesses build scalable digital solutions. I’m an alumnus of IIT Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis, and I combine an engineering background with entrepreneurial leadership to drive innovation.
Over the past 15+ years I’ve led teams building AI-powered products and services that solve complex, real-world problems, from a system engineer role on Tata Consultancy Services’ investment banking platforms, to founding two companies, to representing India’s technology ecosystem on state visits abroad.
As a Guinness World Record holder, I thrive on ambitious challenges and believe in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
My focus areas today are generative AI, agentic AI, and business strategy, helping organizations harness intelligent systems to improve efficiency, drive growth, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Beyond work, I’m passionate about democratizing AI education and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, sharing insights on emerging technology, from multimodal large language models to agentic workflows, wherever I can be useful.

The path so far
2007-2011
B.Tech Computer Science, SKIT Jaipur
Studied Computer Science while getting an early taste of the tech community that would define the next decade.
2010-2011
Microsoft Student Partner
Shared knowledge across the academic community, running courses, giving presentations, and initiating student projects.
2011-2013
System Engineer, Tata Consultancy Services
Worked on SEI's GWP investment banking solution, a first serious encounter with enterprise-scale software.
2012
Guinness World Record at Windows AppFest, Bangalore
Part of the largest app development meet globally, officially setting the Guinness World Record for Most Participants in an App Development Marathon.
2013
Founded Habilesoft
Ankit's first venture, a software products and services company, and the starting point for everything that followed.
2016
Founded HabileLabs
Built HabileLabs into a trusted Cloud, Data & AI partner for enterprise clients, 75+ AWS migrations and a growing Generative AI and Agentic AI practice.
2023
Representing India at Slush, Helsinki
Selected as one of only 30 startups from across India for the official Startup India / DPIIT delegation to Slush 2023 in Finland, the first of several international delegations.
2025
Executive MBA, IIT Bombay & Washington University in St. Louis
Completed an 18-month Executive MBA across IIT Bombay and WashU's Olin Business School, and received his degree at IIT Bombay's 64th Convocation, pairing the engineering background with formal training in leadership and strategy.
2026
HabileLabs turns 10
What began in 2016 as a bet that 'Rajasthan can produce world-class technology' is now a global company with 250+ innovators and offices across India, USA, Canada and Europe.

Representing India on the global stage
Part of the Indian Industry Delegation on President Droupadi Murmu's State Visit to Romania, Moldova and North Macedonia, and the Indian Ministerial & Business Delegation to Canada with Minister Piyush Goyal.
